The short version
The Wiley Rule, Inc. does not sell, rent or share personal information for advertising. Our public website has no accounts and no advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (for example, which pages are visited).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on the public site (thewileyrule.org). Google receives basic technical data about visits, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP address. We configure Analytics with IP anonymization. We do not use Analytics for ads, and we do not sell analytics data. The password-gated private workspace does not load Analytics.
What we collect
Our public pages do not ask you to create an account. Our contact form opens your own email app; nothing is saved by this website. If you add your name to our supporter pledge, we save the name, email, ZIP code and whether you asked for occasional updates. We use it to count supporters (only the total is shown publicly) and, if you opted in, to send occasional updates. We never sell or share it. To be removed, email us. If you email us, we receive what you choose to send and use it only to reply and to do our work. Our web host (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
Ask The Wiley Rule (AI assistant)
If you use the “Ask” assistant, your question is sent to our AI service (Cloudflare Workers AI) to write an answer. We save the question text, with email addresses, phone numbers, ZIP codes and street addresses removed, plus counts (such as whether it was answered), for up to 90 days so we can review and improve answers. We do not store your IP address; we keep only a one-way code that changes every day, used to limit abuse. We do not save the answers or link questions to you. Please don’t type personal or medical details. Our public MCP server for AI apps keeps no logs of its own beyond Cloudflare’s standard security processing.
Health information
Please don’t send us medical records. If you share a personal experience, we keep it private, limit who can see it, and never publish it without your written permission.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If we add new forms, we will update this policy first. Questions: [email protected].
